What weight snatch strap do you use for recoveries and what vehicle do you drive? Are there any issues to going with something a bit too strong for you vehicle just to be safe?

Also, can you recommend any good brands?
 
my car is a land cruiser prod 90 and I use a 3.5 tonne one. There is a slight issue with using a strap that is too strong because the elastic effect it has won't work on a lighter vehicle. In simple words the strap will be to stiff.

You do have the piece of mind that it is far easier to brake it though
 
yep, agreed with the above. it is better to stay as close the the weight of you vehicle as possible. Go a bit higher to factor in the forces of the recovery
