TJ Jeep Wrangler 4.0L VS 300TDI Land Rover Discovery 1, what would you buy as an off road toy/overlander

I would go for the Disco purely because of the ride quality and looks. When it comes to off roading their abilities are very similar and the 300tdi and 4.0L engines are very reliable
 
I would also say Land Rover. They just have something about them. And believe it or not, the 300tdi is actually reliable
 
I would choose the wrangler as I think it is more reliable and it's smaller size means it does better on the really technical stuff
