I have this installed on my 2022 Wrangler and I have everything wired in the way it should. However when I get out and testing this thing out, I don't feel any resistance in my trailer when applying the brakes. I bought this thing used and apparently it's out of warranty.

The person I bought this from isn't answering his phone and I could use some help please. What can I look at to see about this being set up correctly?
 
Couple questions:

1. have you checked the lights and such when parked in the trailer?
2. Not to ask a Captain Obvious question, have you downloaded the manual offline? There is brake resistance you can turn up on the brake controller, and if you don't have that turned up enough, it's not going to do anything.
 
Before you plug in the trailer, it should read OC. That means nothing is connected. Once connected I think mine read 0.0. Once I stop the numbers will increase.
If its hooked up properly, Does the trailer work on another tow rig? Also if the display shows proper, is the controller turned all the way down?
