Jeep Gladiator worst pickup truck for 2022??

I was reading an article earlier that stated Jeep Gladiator was ranked as worst pickup for 2022. How in the world do they come up with these scores?

@Todd C - I would think there are far worse pickups out there  If the worst pickup ranking was based off of ownership experience (problems, trips to the dealer, etc), then maybe there's some support to that claim. I know there have been issues with the Gladiator but nothing that I saw was MUCH different from the other manufacturers. I always take what I see in an article or magazine with a grain of salt.

first, its a solid axle truck with a gear box steering. Everyone else is running IFS and rack steering. That means when they compare trucks, a solid axle will always lose out in comfort, milage and handling.

Here's what I found that made people not like the truck.
1. Scored low for comfortability
2.Getting in and out of the vehicle is awkward
3. According to Consumer reports, emergency handling was poor
4.The low beams lack distance and the high beams do not perform as well as those on most other vehicles. (compared to????HID projectors?) BTW my Tacoma headlights sucked too.
5.Cornering is not an easy task. (its a track car now?)
6. Poor fuel economy
7. Poor driving comfort

Now this could be something I would pay attention to if I didn't live in Calif. I guess this has been an ongoing issue.
In the recent 70-page lawsuit, FCA US is held liable for forgetting to tell customers that the body panels, fenders, doors and hood could easily corrode.

Based on what I found, people who buy them for the cool factor will be disappointed. When I bought my TJ Rubicon, I was the third owner. It only had 16k miles. The guy I bought it from hated it due to the fuel milage, ride and worst of all the road noise from the soft top.
