GoTreads vs Maxtrax traction boards

I need a more portable set of traction boards for my wifes car. Now I have the Maxtrax boards and love these, however she doesn't have the room for these. I see these GoTreads fold up nicely. Anyone with experience with them?

Not sure, seen these advertised around, but haven't come across someone that has used them. I would be concerned about the hinges giving out.

While I have Maxtrax, I've seen the videos or ads for these Gotreads. These things work. What's funny is everyone who Googles this company now, then goes to FB, you'll see this company in your news feed. ha ha ha
