Converting a gas engine Wrangler to Diesel?

Have any of you considered converting your gas powered Wrangler to a diesel motor? What was involved in that and were there any complications?

I would say it isn't worth it mate. The wiring will give you a really hard time

if you have a full second vehicle that you can take the whole engine along with the electrical stuff then yes it is worth it. If not it will take time for you to figure out the electronics and make the engine work properly. I am assuming that you are swapping another same model wrangler but Diesel engine here and not a full on engine swap from a completely different vehicle as for that you will need a lot of experience to make it work

Unless you have all the parts needed for a direct straight forward swap I would say it is not worth it

Dude that is going to be expensive. Anything is possible, but get ready to spend some bucks!
