The next edition of our Second Wind Trailers user reviews, we introduce you to Andrew Rogers, who connected with California-Based Second Wind Trailers all the way from Michigan.
I know what you’re thinking – you need to have an extreme level of trust in someone when you’re spending thousands and thousands of dollars from afar. But that trust, though hard-earned, is quickly built when the product received is as good as a Second Wind Trailer!
In fact, Andrew has ordered TWO more Second Wind Trailers after having such a great experience with the first one. That says a lot about the quality of the product that Nathan and the Second Wind Trailers team puts out. If Andrew can trust Second Wind Trailers all the way from Michigan to California, anyone can do the same.
As with our previous user reviews, you’ll get a first-hand account of what it’s like owning a Second Wind Trailer. When you’re considering a teardrop trailer for your camping adventures, it’s beneficial to have reports from the field. It’s also nice to hear about locally-owned trailer companies that provide superb products to their customers.
So, without further ado, let’s meet Andrew and discover what his experiences have been like with his teardrop trailer from Second Wind Trailers.

About the Owners
4WD: Tell Us a Little About Yourself
AR: My wife and I were each educators for 25 years. We enjoy getting off the beaten path in our jeep. We had “Coastie” built to be able to follow us to some remote sites. We also rent the teardrop and it has been to many rustic campgrounds. The renters seem to like taking “Coastie” to Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore.
Second Wind Trailers Freedom User Review
4WD: There are many trailer options on the market, what made you go with a Second Wind trailer?
AR:I personally like the styling of the Freedom trailer and the willingness of Nathan to add the custom touches we wanted.
4WD: How has owning this trailer changed the way you camp?
AR:We stopped camping before we got the trailer. I really needed a comfortable place to sleep without the damp camping feeling.
4WD: What is your favorite feature about this trailer?
AR:The smell of the cabin is our favorite feature. The cedar interior makes us feel like we are sleeping in the woods.
4WD: How often are you camping?
AR:The quick answer is “not enough”. The camper has been used by our family 6 trips so far this year. We have also rented the camper on off weekends.
4WD: We all go camping for different reasons, what is yours?
AR: We like to decompress while camping. We go on mild hikes and river trips while out in Northern Michigan.
4WD: What vehicle are you towing your trailer with?
AR: 2020 Jeep Wrangler 2-door.
4WD: If you could describe this trailer in one word, what would that word be?
AR:Homey.
