As with our previous user reviews, you’ll get a first-hand account of what it’s like owning a Second Wind Trailer. When you’re considering a teardrop trailer for your camping adventures, it’s beneficial to have reports from the field. It’s also nice to hear about locally-owned trailer companies that provide superb products to their customers.
So, without further ado, let’s meet Peter and discover what his experiences have been like with his teardrop trailer from Second Wind Trailers.

Second Wind Trailers Freedom User Review
4WD: There are many trailer options on the market, what made you go with a Second Wind trailer?
PF:Â Availability, value, support local business, customizable, solid customer service and reasonable build time…Every time I get gas, someone gives us a compliment.
4WD: How has owning this trailer changed the way you camp?Â
PF:Â Now, we just drive up and park the trailer. No more setting up or breaking down tents (and having to wait for the tents to dry before we can even pack them), but, we don’t have to find a spot for a giant RV. So, we can go camping even when we don’t have reservations. And, we are SO much more comfortable!
4WD: What is your favorite feature about this trailer?
PF:Â The electric- and propane-powered galley.
4WD: How often are you camping?
PF:Â We camp 2-3 times a month, 3 seasons a year.
4WD: We all go camping for different reasons, what is yours?
PF: To combine relaxation, exercise, and travel on a very reasonable budget.
4WD: What vehicle are you towing your trailer with?
PF: 2014 BMW X1. It has a two-liter turbo, 240 horsepower, 280 lb-ft of torque, and full-time AWD.
4WD: If you could describe this trailer in one word, what would that word be?
RN:Â Enjoyable.
