I recently headed out to Joshua Tree National Park to get some epic shots of the Milky Way. Joshua Tree is known for its dark skies (and hot temperatures), but I was willing to test the heat index to get the shots I’ve been dreaming of. In this latest edition of Photography Trek and Adventures, follow along as I head out there, get camp set up, and get my adventure on. There were a lot of obstacles along the way – stinky outhouses, rattlesnakes, and hazy skies among them – but learning to adapt, overcome, and persevere is as valuable a lesson as any! My Gear:
