Would you ever overland on a bike?

Overlanding on a motorbike. It has many pros such as being significantly cheaper. However it has some very big cons as well and those usually include being bloody uncomfortable and not very safe.

There arguments that support both sides. However, I am curious what a group of car based overlanders think about the same activity on a bike?

Any opinions?

Respect to those who do it! I would really never be able to. Too cold, wet and uncomfortable

nope, note for me. I do get the appeal though and as you have said it is way cheaper. However, the weather will ruin the experience for me I think whereas with the car you stay comfortable regardless
