Winch options for 2024?

I need to get a new winch. I had a 8k Warn winch, which I had owned for a long time. I was going to get a new Warn, but just checking to see if these are considered the best and most reliable out there still?

Friend of mine is running a winch he picked up from Harbor Freight called Badlands or something like that. Not as nice as Warn winches, but it does the job

Harbor Freight winch? Have you seen it used?

I have. Their ok. I'm not a fan of cheap synthetic rope on a winch though.
