Will you lend your tent out?

A friend asked to use a tent that I own. It's a Gazelle tent, so wasn't exactly something that was cheap. Things happen, and they can happen from simple mistakes. Would you lend out your tent?

Close family yes, I would, but after showing how the tent goes up. Friends or neighbors? No. I rarely lend out stuff, when I do it's just as I said, close family.

Heck no! Last time I lent out something it came back not the same. Actually nearly every time I have lent out something, it has come back not the same. Polite "I don't lend out gear" or "I'm using it".

Close family, yes. But friends or even distance family, no.
