Where did you mount your jack? Every place I have thought I have concerns about this becoming a missile or getting in my way in the future. Would like to hear what others have done with theirs.
If you talking about a Hi Lift, please don't mount it to your hood. I actually saw one of those become a projectile. Actually, I saw the Joshua tree it cut in half after the guy hit a rock at about 25 mph. Jack mounting bolts tore through the hood sheet metal.
On my old jeeps, I carried it on the rear tire carrier between the tire and the mount. The tire slightly pressed against it so it didn't rattle. I use bottle jacks now.
