When should steering be beefed up?

At what point when upgrading tire size should you start thinking about beefing up the steering pump and all that?

Not until you get higher than 38" tires. If you put 40" tires, 100% you should address steering, those large tires will be a lot of work for stock steering to deal with .

Vincent, would that be much more than replacing just the steering pump?
