Tentbox Go 73lb tent??

I was just asked about this tent from a good friend of mine who is getting her first rooftop tent. Apparently this is on preorder only right now. I couldn't find much information about it and thought I would post this question here and also sent this website question on it too. https://us.tentbox.com/products/tentbox-go

I told her I would find out what I could about it. 73lbs is light weight. But I don't know anything about this company. At this weight, comfort has got to be compromised somewhere?

Right off the bat, its small. Looking at the thickness of the material its on par with the major RTT's. To me it appears to be a 2-3 season tent. Looking at their other tents, it seems they use the same material. The company has been around for about 10 years. I would look at their reviews regarding common problems.

Click on "1 star" to read all the negative reviews. Seems like they have issues with customer service and clients getting product on time.

I'd be wondering about the mattress in that tent. 73lb tent tells me there are some areas they had to go lean on. Mattresses can get heavy.

Putting aside their not so favorable reviews from that Trust pilot site, the tent is pretty cool, just curious on the build quality which is kind of hard to tell from photos.

73lbs? There has to be structural corners cut. For this price point we know they aren't using space age light weight materials. Not sold on this.

OMG, I wouldn't. A friend of mine bought one of these and had issues with the tent, tried reaching the company and customer service was a challenge. He ended up returning the tent and I think he bought a used iKamper or something. Actually not sure what he bought, know it was used and he got a good deal.
