Storage of cast iron pans

Just noticed a couple of our cast iron pans have some rust on them. Not an authority on these sort of pans, so a lot to learn. When you leave them for longer periods or around high humidity, how are you storying them so they don't rust?

My cast iron stays in my trailer. When I'm done with it I coat it in a good layer of oil. This keeps them from rusting but can make a mess when its hot out. The shelve they sit on is completely covered with oil. If it was wood that would be one thing but it has carpet on it so..... yeah. I need to make some carry bags to stuff them into just for the mess but that hasn't happened yet.

I only have two and mine are in a Rubbermaid container. Just make sure you store completely dry.
