Snorkel on your 4Runner?

Any of you using a snorkel on your 4Runner? Have you found any benefit from air filter being higher in terms of less dirt clogging up your filter? I don't drive through much water, so the big selling point for me is cooler air and less dirt into filter IF that is noticed?

Eh, I wouldn't be putting one on. But then again I don't drive through water with my rig

If you get a cheap knock off you won't get much benefit from dust. If you can find one with the secondary filter on top or a good quality safari snorkel then yes you will see a difference.

I like having them on mine as there were plenty of occasions where I did not plan on driving through deep water but the trail involved some deep crossings that I had to drive through.

So, for piece of mind I would get one. They are not that expensive and I recon they look cool

I would get one, they are cheap to install and can save your engine!
