Rooftop tent that holds in heat or AC?

I'm helping a friend out who wants a rooftop tent that will go above his F-250, but he wants something that has some ability to keep heat in during winters and cold in during the summers. Wasn't sure so figured I'd ask you all.

+1 on insulation kit. Some tents have them available. One of the guys in my group has it. Don't know the tent brand.

Look for tents that have thicker fabric used. For example check out Colorado4x4. These guys use a very thick siding so that you don't need to use a winter insulation kit.

There isn't a single RTT that I know of that has enough insulation to have any significant R value in it's walls

It's a frame with a thin layer of canvas, not much insulation happening here. You just need AC or heat that will not require a lot of energy to keep on. That is the only way to keep warm or cool.
