Overlanding in a TJ

Hey guys, I have a TJ that i owned for several years now but it was mostly used for off roading in areas near to where i live. Since that popularity of overlanding has been increasing and as it seems to be the only thing that pops up on my social media feed lately, i have started making some thoughts of maybe taking the TJ on an overlanding adventure.

My question is, have any of you guys done any overlanding in a TJ?

The problems i can see are size and comfort. Any recommendations on how i can make this old thing a bit more comfortable would be great. Also, do you have any particular ways of storing stuff so that they fit in the TJ?

I will be traveling with a second person.

Thank you.

Hi mate, nice to see there are more TJ owners here. Recaro makes some great aftermarket seats that are far more comfy than those of the TJ. Check out this video

Hi bro, i would try fitting some JL seat in there? You will probably need to modify the seat rails but it will be worth it.
