A few rumors are floating around. One of them is longevity issues. I guess the motor is in one of the Dodge trucks and it's not doing well.
Jeep did say their gearing more toward electric vehicles. They never released an official statement at all other then two possible small gas engines with turbos.
Two of my buddies have them and their great.
