Insulate Wrangler roof to cut heat?

This heat is getting old. The AC in my Jeep sucks and I feel like it's just an oven in here. Is there anything that can be done to insulate the roof better on these to keep the heat out?

Oh, you need to check out "Hot Heads", I have used these guys in my last 2 Jeeps and it works. Put aside an afternoon for the install.

In my TJ with a soft top, I cut some 1/2” foam house insulation and stuffed it over my cage. Huge diffrence.

Is the foam exposed on that or do you have something over it?

Exposed under the soft top. It basically sat on top of my cage with the soft top holding it.
