Hothead Headliner works good?

Are these things a gimmick or do they actually work to reduce heat inside your cabin?

I mounted a piece of 1/2 foam to the inside of my TJ soft top. Huge difference in temp. If that's anything like it, then it should work.

Hot heads has carpet with compressed wood, with sound damping behind that, all of this creates insulation. They work
