Go Fast Camper

OK, possible different direction. So as I was talking with you all we have been looking at putting a roof top tent on our truck. Some of you recommended going with a bed rack, then put the tent on top of that. Now we found a company called Go Fast Camper that makes a tent that is on top of a camper that sits on the back of your truck.

What's the story with these things? If we go with a bed rack with tent on top of it, all our stuff in the back will still be exposed to weather and dusty. If we go with one of these Go Fast Camper things, everything is all enclosed?

I think there are two of that design in my group. I don't remember the brands. So yes, everything is enclosed. One of the vehicles has a small kitchen in the lower part and the other one has the kitchen outside. The outside kitchen guy has a family of five. One of them sleeps on a platform in the bed.
There's probably a dozen manufactures of these. The ones Ive seen look pretty nice.

AT Toppers is another one. But these sort of campers are a lot different than your typical rooftop tent. You have small living space under the sleeping area. So if bad weather, you have spot you can be out of elements with hard walls. Easier to cool and heat depending on time of the year.

We have been looking at a Four Wheel pop up camper. I don't like the fit & finish of these GFC.

Four Wheel camper is not the same as GFC. Not even close. GFC is more budget friendly, what you are looking at is much more comprehensive.

4 wheel campers are NICE! Our neighbor has one and it's very well made. Surprises me what manufactures like this can manage to include in these things. Well, let me reword this: I meant to say it surprises me what manufactures can engineer into these things. Nothing is included as to insinuate something is free, you pay for it. But wow, cool toys.
