First aid kit for day trips?

Holy @#$%^!! I go onto Amazon this morning for a first aid kit and there are hundreds with some of these looking iffy. What the hell, I'll just ask you all. I want a first aid kit for the quick day trips, but a complete kit. Can you suggest one that you have or know of?

Good question. I have a full trauma kit that goes with me. Small stuff I have seen, cactus thorns are a big one out here. Eyebrow tweezers for big thorns and masking tape for the real fine thorns. Sling for sprained arm, elbow.... i use water for eyewash. Big cuts you want a non stick gauze and something to go over it. Small and large band aids. I'm a fan of butterfly stitch bandaids for long cuts. Antiseptics, some type of pain reliever, Something for bug bites, mosquito repellant.
That's all I can come up with right off the top of my head for a small kit.

In europe we "have to" carry a aid kit in any car. This kits are enough in my eyes.

At least as long jour journey didnt get really out of civilisation. Other stuff seems me more required, like defence spray, fire extinguisher and so on.
