Curt wiring harness #58964 flat towing wiring

Hey everyone! I'm setting up my Jeep for flat towing and was about to buy the Curt wiring harness #58964 that was suggested to me. From what I've gathered, this harness powers the brake, tail, and turn lights on the trailer using the trailers power. The Jeep is providing just the signal of brakes and turn lights right?

Here's where I'm a bit confused: if I also use a supplemental braking system to activate the Jeep's brakes, how does that work together with this setup? Does everything integrate seamlessly, or is there additional setup required to make sure it all functions properly?

Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

What the harness does is plug into your tow rigs flat trailer plug and the jeeps harness. All the signals from the tow rig now work with the Jeep. The remote brake system is separate and will also turn on the stop lights when it applies the Jeep brake.
I don't know how the Jeep turn signals are wired so if their was any interference it would be there. The possibility would be the turn signal flashing the brake lights. No harm would come of it and the fix would be installing some diodes into the Curt harness.

Another alternative is something similar to the curt harness with magnet mounted stop/turn signals. You pop them on the back of the Jeep when you tow it. Ive seen people run this system for years. I have always run my own version of the Curt harness when I flat towed my Jeeps.
