Camping trip to Alaska possible with Canada borders closed?

We've been planning on driving up along the California, Oregon, Washington and then Canada coast line camping along the beach as we make our way to Fairbanks Alaska. Now as I understand, the media tells us the boarders are closed. So are they turning people away or are there ways to sneak on through? We plan on taking 2 months on this trip, so won't be heading back for some time. Is there a way to get through?
 
I wouldn't. Not yet. If things are closed, you could be stuck there for long time. Or it might be nightmare getting back in the USA
 
I literally just read another persons post on FB stating that Canada was lifting the COVID restrictions? Seems like there might be hope on the horizon!
