WOW this heat wave is something else. We are outside of Phoenix last few days camping and day time teams have been 108F+ and evenings have been 86F+. This has been the hottest we have ever camped in. Bags of ice don't last long and you can't find dark enough shade. Anyone else camping in this warm weather or did you Motel 6 it?
 
I don't sleep well in anything over high 70's. For me its a portable fan and restless nights. I've been watching the thread on that portable AC unit but am having a hard time justifying it. I may sleep 3-4 nights a year with heat....Maybe.
Ice chest wise, fridge was a game changer for me. Years ago I trekked from Laughlin through to the top of Death Valley. I think it was eight days. I was the only one without a fridge. We had to detour twice so I could get ice. This was before Yetti ice chests. I bought a fridge a month later and never looked back.

I’m sitting in the forest north of flagstaff with a bit of elevation. It was 5pm and 95 degrees. Good thing a storm blew in and cooled it off. I was thinking it was going to be hot tonight.
I’m changing my answer to hope for a good thunderstorm.
 
Airflow is your friend. I use a strong DC fan that moves air through my space and it makes it much more comfortable
 
Fans and finding spots that have good shade ahead of time. Other than that, not much can be done
