Black trim on Gladiator is fading

Kind of annoyed, the trim on my Gladiator is really fading and have this whitish/grey look vs the dark black. Any thoughts on what will permanently keep black and restore? All the chemicals I have tried I need to re-apply and doesn't stay black.

Mine is doing the same thing. 3M makes a decent product that keeps things black, but it always goes back to the fade. Keep your truck under a cover if you need too. Otherwise garage.

Preventive maintenance is how you keep that looking new. Once sun damages, it's toast. Sure there are chemicals that will make it look good temporarily. However it won't stay that way.
