Bear proofing your vehicle when camping in bear country?

What can be done to your vehicle when you are camping in bear country? We will keep our dry food in the vehicle, or do we need to not worry about it if the dry food is unopened?

They have bear proof containers and coolers that will keep yogi out. A bear if they want, can tear open your car easily. You are better off hanging your opened food up away from your camp or using one of those bear proof storages.
