Are there any GOOD affordable lifts?

I like working on my cars and trucks, often one of my restrictions is height off the ground is what holds me back. Is there an affordable lift and from a foundation standpoint, does there need to be anything special?

Look up car stackers. The ones I was looking at were 6k-8k rated. People use them to fit more cars in the garage. We had a few at work at one time. We used them as cheap drive up lifts with no accessories then stored the cars on them off the ground.

My father has a lift that is 20 some years old he had installed on a concrete slab under a carport. Other than a hydraulic hose a few years back, that lift has been great. It looks horrible, but works well. I'll get the brand for you, I just know its red.

I'm in the same boat. Would love to have one, but no place to put it without getting in hot water
