Alp 1000 Watt Propane Generator run 1000 watt electric heater?

I was just reading an article on this site about this generator. So from what I gathered, this generator has a peak power of 1000 watt and running watts is pegged at 850 watts. So if you run this heater at 75% you should be well below the 850 threshold. Correct?

Well if you could be sure that the heater is running at 750 watts, (75%) you still have a little bit room from Alps running watts of 850. If you are over, the Alp generator will just shut down to protect itself.

I have never owned one of these but, all of the generators I have owned, you don't set the power level. You turn them on and they run. the rpm is based on the load.
Here's an example of a typical day in my motor home.
Start generator in the morning. It raises idle a bit until it warms up then smooths out. Turn on coffee pot, rpm increases very slightly. Microwave, rpm doubles. Microwave off and its back to idle. Turn on AC it will surge full to get the compressor going then drop to a mid level rpm and stay there. Low battery bank wont quite draw what the microwave did.

The more you pull from it, the higher the rpm (to a point) "If" its a 1kw generator and you pull 750 watts, it will run at almost its full power mode as long as its on.
Looking at the site, it said 60 hour run time on 20 pounds of propane, but nowhere did I see 60 hour run time at what load.

The problem with grid heaters is they pull a ton of power.
