All cast iron pans the same?

Buying a cast iron pan, are all aside from side the same? Or is there some sort of difference I need to know about?

Not the same. Quality of the iron and casting is the difference.
I use Lodge.

Mine I forget the brand, but was picked up off Amazon. There were nearly 400 reviews on it and I'm super happy with it. I guess that is a big vague, but the take away is look at the reviews and don't be the cheapest pan you can find.

You all will laugh, however my pans are at least 80 years old. My grandmother gave these to me years ago.
