From its lightweight construction to its luxurious interior, the Cube Series Trailer is a standout in the 2024 camper market.
But beyond that, why is this trailer my top pick for the best camper of 2024? Well, that’s simple…
One of the defining features of the Cube Series Trailer is its ultra-lightweight construction. Weighing in at just 2,730 lbs, this trailer is made from a blend of industry-grade aluminum, composite materials, and advanced alloys. This not only keeps the weight manageable for towing but also ensures durability that can handle the toughest adventures. Whether you’re maneuvering through tight trails or cruising down the highway, the Cube Series is designed to make towing a breeze.
The patented smart folding system is another revolutionary feature. With the touch of a button, the walls fold and unfold seamlessly, making setup a quick and effortless task. In just minutes, you can transform the compact trailer into a fully functional living space, ready to take on any adventure. The load-bearing multipurpose roof system adds an extra layer of versatility, allowing you to haul gear or attach accessories without compromising stability.
The Cube Series Trailer is built to withstand the elements, too. Its waterproof and secure structure ensures that rain, snow, or extreme heat won’t put a damper on your trip. It’s designed as a four-season camper, so it features a heated and enclosed area for holding tanks, freeze-resistant water lines, and an 18,000 BTU forced air furnace to keep you comfortable even in the harshest conditions. In other words, this trailer isn’t just about surviving the elements—it’s about thriving in them!
Inside the Cube Series Trailer, you’ll find a thoughtfully designed space that prioritizes comfort and style. The “L”-shaped dinette doubles as an 80” sleeper, offering versatility for dining and relaxation.
For cooking, the two-burner range and 3 cubic-foot refrigerator/freezer combo ensure you can whip up meals without missing the comforts of home. Synthetic leather upholstery and LED interior lighting round out the luxury experience, proving that adventure doesn’t mean sacrificing comfort. This trailer really is like a luxury hotel on wheels.
What truly sets the Cube Series apart is its customization potential. You can choose from a variety of features and upgrades to make the trailer fit your specific needs. Add an optional wet bath with a cassette toilet, a 6000 BTU air conditioner, or a Truma Comfort Plus on-demand hot water system to provide even more comfort.
For off-grid adventurers, the Cube Series offers three solar-only packages and three off-grid packages, with the highest tier providing 900 AH of lithium-ion battery power and 1,140 watts of solar energy. Paired with a 2,000-watt inverter/charger and battery monitoring system, this setup makes the Cube Series a dream for those truly independent off-grid adventures.
The optional off-road package is another highlight, featuring a 6” frame, off-road M/S tires, a front storage rack, and a 5,000 lb axle. These enhancements make the trailer rugged enough to handle remote trails while maintaining the smooth towing experience it’s known for.

Best Campers of 2024: Escapod TOPO 2 Voyager
The Escapod TOPO2 Voyager has redefined what it means to adventure in comfort and style. This premier teardrop trailer combines rugged off-road capability with luxury amenities, making it a top choice for anyone seeking durability, versatility, and convenience on their outdoor excursions.
Let’s dive into the details and see how the TOPO2 Voyager stands out from the crowd…
At the heart of the TOPO2 Voyager is its single-piece composite fiberglass body, which is not only sleek but built to last. Using an infused structural PET core—made from recycled materials—Escapod eliminates the need for structural wood. This means no concerns about rot or mold, reduced weight, and a significantly more durable trailer. Nice!
The dry weight of approximately 2,000 lbs ensures compatibility with a variety of tow vehicles, too, including mid-size SUVs and trucks. Meanwhile, the hot-dip galvanized laser-cut steel frame ensures longevity, even when faced with harsh weather and tough trails. Its modular design also allows you to customize the trailer with bolt-on options like rock rails and additional receiver tubes to match your adventure style.
Practical features, such as the 8-cubic-foot integrated tongue box, add even more functionality. Whether you need to store propane tanks or essential gear, this thoughtful design ensures you’re always road-ready.
The TOPO2 Voyager is also built for those who want to go far beyond the pavement. Its proprietary Freeride Suspension System provides 5 inches of independent travel per side, absorbing the bumps and jolts of uneven terrain while maintaining stability on paved roads. And since it’s outfitted with General Grabber AT/X Tires and 16-inch Vision 355 Manx 2 Overland Wheels, the trailer excels in traction and stability. Whether you’re navigating rocky trails or sandy dunes, the TOPO2 Voyager stays steady and secure.
Cornering stability is another top feature of this trailer. Thanks to its independent suspension system, the trailer minimizes lean, making it easier to tow through challenging conditions. If you like to push boundaries, these features make the TOPO2 Voyager an invaluable companion.
Step inside the TOPO2 Voyager, and you’re greeted by a thoughtful, functional interior designed for comfort and convenience. With 42.5 inches of headroom and a bubble-style stargazer window, the cabin feels spacious while offering breathtaking views and enhanced airflow.
The queen-sized memory foam mattress promises a restful night’s sleep, while the integrated heating system keeps you cozy during cold-weather adventures. Clever storage solutions—like birch headboards with dual-access doors and built-in wireless charging nightstands—help you stay organized and connected as well.
Unique features such as the heated mudrooms at each door and a fold-out laptop stand, add modern convenience to this rugged trailer. Whether you’re working remotely or simply unwinding after a day of exploring, the TOPO2 Voyager’s cabin has you covered.
I can’t explain well enough how luxurious this trailer is. When I hopped into it while I was visiting my friends at BTR Outfitters in Abilene, Texas, I was astonished at how roomy and comfortable the TOPO2’s cabin truly is.
But, for as someone who loves to cook, the galley is where the TOPO2 Voyager truly shines. As you can see above, its stainless steel sink, ENO two-burner stove, and modular shelving system allow you to cook gourmet meals in the great outdoors. With ample storage—including a spice drawer and a hidden knife cabinet—everything you need is within reach.
One of the most practical options is the upgrade from the standard YETI 75 cooler to the ARB 63 Fridge/Freezer, which eliminates the hassle of ice and keeps your food fresh on extended trips. Mounted on locking drawer slides, this fridge/freezer is easy to access and store. Plus, the rear galley with the hinged door that swings up to protect you from the elements is a great design.
As you can see below, the solar panel is mounted to the galley door. When I was in Texas at BTR Outfitters, it was blazing hot, so having the upswinging galley door provided nice shade without diminishing the solar panel’s ability to soak up the rays.
The outdoor shower system adds an element of luxury, too. Whether rinsing off gear or enjoying a refreshing shower, the system is user-friendly and integrates hot water hookups for added comfort. Add details like red LED lighting, which minimizes bug attraction, and strategically placed storage compartments, and you can see how every inch of the TOPO2 Voyager’s galley is designed for efficiency and enjoyment.
Whether you’re a seasoned overlander or someone seeking weekend escapes with all the comforts of home, the TOPO2 Voyager delivers. It’s more than a trailer and more than one of the best campers of 2024—it’s an invitation to explore the world without limits.
Are you ready to elevate your outdoor experiences? The team at BTR Outfitters and the TOPO2 Voyager are waiting to take you there!
