Rustic Mountain Overland Anzac GFC Trailer Review: Basic Specs

Let’s start at the base of the trailer, where you’ll find 15-inch wheels wrapped in 31-inch all-terrain tires. With the addition of a Lock-N-Roll hitch, plenty of ground clearance, and a departure angle that accommodates tricky trails, this trailer is ready to go from the get-go.

The Anzac GFC also has a textured powder-coated finish that’s not just durable but it also looks awesome.

From below, you can see the rugged build quality of the trailer. With multiple cross-members, the Anzac can accommodate all sorts of gear in the enclosed storage area above.

Speaking of storage, what makes this trailer so unique is that it is truly enclosed storage – there are four doors – one on each side – each of which opens upward for easy access. When you’re done, shut the doors, lock ’em up, and your gear is safe inside.

The storage bay is 48″ x 99″ to accommodate all sorts of gear. Load up your motorcycle, multiple bicycles, your camping gear…whatever you need! The storage tub has an integrated L-track tie-down system that enables you to secure whatever load you have inside.

Up front is a large tongue box that has two chambers. The upper chamber provides gear storage, while the lower chamber comes equipped with a Tembo Tusk box slide and a Dometic CFX3-45 cooler. You even get a Dometic PLB-40 battery to power the cooler. Nice!

Other features include an integrated step all the way around the trailer, built-in shelter from the weather with the upward-opening storage bay doors, and a wheeled jack up front for assisting in maneuvering the trailer at camp.

But perhaps best of all is that this trailer gives you a place to sleep, too…

Up top is a sleeping platform with a GFC tent, so you have a built-in place to get a good night’s rest. Better still is that you get access to the rooftop sleeping area from inside the trailer. You can even set up the storage bay as a makeshift lounge with a place to sit and drink your morning coffee. It’s like a hotel room on wheels!

Rustic Mountain Overland Anzac GFC Trailer Optional Features

While the Rustic Mountain Overland Anzac GFC comes well-equipped from the start, you can add some goodies to it to address your specific needs.

For example, you can add a custom bed liner to enhance the already durable nature of the storage bay. You can also get a matching spare tire in case you have some wild adventures planned, and you’re concerned about getting a flat.

Additionally, you can add an armor package and a Cruisemaster CRS2 suspension if your outdoor adventures require a little more off-road prowess than the base trailer. Add to that a variety of custom colors, and you have the makings of a trailer that you can turn into a bespoke camping and adventure experience.

Rustic Mountain Overland Anzac GFC Trailer Review: So Many Uses!

rustic mountain overland anzac gfc trailer review

At first glance, you might look at the Rustic Mountain Overland Anzac GFC and think that it’s ideal for overlanding and off-roading. And while that’s certainly true, this trailer offers many more potential uses than weekend camping trips or long-haul adventures across the country.

This trailer is also a solid candidate for tailgating at your favorite sporting event – you have a place to sit, a place to keep food and drinks cool, and the rooftop tent can be a makeshift kids’ area so they can play while you get your grill on.

Another option is to use this trailer for gear hauling. If you’re like me and you have tons of gear at home and a ton more gear in a storage unit, you can easily use the Anzac’s enclosed storage bay to bring gear from one location to the next.

Rustic Mountain Overland Anzac GFC Trailer Pricing

The base Anzac GFC model starts at $32,995. As noted earlier, though, you can add other features and amenities to the trailer so it meets your specific needs. Doing so adds to the base price, of course. Financing is available to help you with your purchase.

At the end of the day, buying a trailer is a big deal. You want to invest in something that can accommodate your varying needs, and the Anzac GFC certainly does that!
