I know you might have read the title of this article and thought, “Do I really need to learn how to enjoy the outdoors more?”
And I get it…simply being outdoors is enough to put me in a good mood. Stick me in the woods for a weekend, and I’m downright giddy!
However, I’m also attuned to the fact that there are a lot of folks out there who have a lot of tips and tricks they use to make their outdoor adventures all the better. In some cases, it might be a trick to make camp life more comfortable. Others might require a solution to a common camping problem, like how to keep all your gear safe, secure, and dry in inclement weather. In others, it might be simple tips to have a better camping experience. The list goes on and on…
So, today, I figured I’d take a look at a few things you can do and some gear you might invest in to enjoy the outdoors more. Let’s get to it!

When you’re out in nature, it’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of exploring, hiking, and checking off activities on your itinerary. So, this tip might be a bit controversial…
I know plenty of folks who adamantly oppose having technology on camping trips. And that’s totally fine! Unplugging from the world for a few days is a great way to recharge.
However, I run multiple online companies, so being cut off from the world for days on end simply isn’t a possibility. I have to have things like my laptop, my cameras, and Starlink so I can work while I’m enjoying the outdoors. And for that, I need portable power.
Why Portable Power?

Sure, I use my power station to charge my GoPro batteries, run Starlink, and so forth. But I can also use it to power my coffee pot to enjoy a hot cup of joe on a cool morning in the mountains.
