TurboMaxâ„¢ Engine and Transmission
At the heart of the Trail Boss is the TurboMaxâ„¢ engine, a high-performing powerhouse generating 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. This robust performance ensures excellent acceleration and towing capability. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, the system offers seamless shifts and intelligent features like Tow/Haul Mode for enhanced power when hauling heavy loads or navigating challenging terrain.

Precision Steering and Control
The 2024 Trail Boss is equipped with Electric Power Steering, offering variable assist to suit your driving needs. At low speeds, such as during parking, the system provides greater steering assist for easy maneuverability. At higher speeds, it delivers precise on-center performance for enhanced stability and control, giving you confidence whether you’re navigating trails or open highways.
Reliable Braking Performance
Safety and durability are paramount in the Trail Boss, as seen in its 4-wheel antilock disc brakes. These brakes help prevent wheel lockup during hard braking, improving steering control even on slippery surfaces. The system features Duralife brake rotors, treated to resist corrosion and extend rotor life, ensuring reliable performance and reduced maintenance. Additionally, the advanced Ferritic Nitro Carburizing process further enhances durability, minimizing rust and brake pulsation for a smoother, more consistent braking experience.
Built for Performance
Whether you’re towing, trailering, or tackling rough terrain, the 2024 Chevy Silverado Trail Boss offers exceptional power, precision, and reliability. Its finely tuned engine, intelligent transmission, and advanced braking and steering systems make it the perfect truck for drivers who demand performance without compromise.
